It's such an honor to be here listening to your life story and working to help you create meaningful changes.

"Don't be fooled by the stereotype.  Sensitivity isn't a weakness, it's a strength.  Being deeply in tune with your emotions and your environment can help you navigate life with empathy and power." ~ Jenn Granneman

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience.

Since I was young, I knew I wanted to be in a helping profession.  I'm fascinated by relationships, and I've always been drawn to witnessing people's stories, transformation, and growth.

I received a Bachelor of Social Work from Cabrini College in 2011, and went on to receive a Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in 2012. Throughout my social work education I worked as an intern at a number of agencies and organizations where I recognized my love for clinical work, and identified the ultimate goal of entering private practice.  After graduate school I worked for two years in therapeutic foster care.  I then entered a group private practice, where I worked with clients with numerous problems of living and identified specific areas in which I enjoy working most:  eating disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship problems, and difficulties associated with the trait of High Sensitivity.

I opened the (virtual) doors of The Calming Place in August 2020, which has allowed me to provide more authentically client-centered care.  At that time I met with clients exclusively via telehealth; however, I now see clients in-person as well.  I genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients and assisting them in harnessing their inner strength and resources to improve their lives.  Watching them realize their potential, cultivate healthier relationships, and feel more fulfilled is the greatest reward.

These modalities include:
